In the White House press briefing there was a discussion about whether 1 day of jail time would have been excessive.
Mr. Stanzel couldn’t say that 1 day would have been excessive. He had to stick to the line that “30 months was excessive”.

The day strict constructionism died…

Libby’s sentence is commuted…
