Maybe Huckabee is staying so that conservatives fall in love with McCain

Myabe Huckabee is staying in the race so that conservatives suddenly realize how great McCain looks.
Of course, reading the latest polls, that does not seem to be the case…
Aren’t you happy you are not a Republican? McCain or Huckabee? Are these even really called choices?

The aftermath of Super Tuesday…

I am still recovering from the shock of seeing sometime today that Obama is ahead in the delegate count (note: on msnbc)…
Beyond that, it looks like Hillary is experiencing some financial trouble. Is this the beginning of the end of her campaign? Who knows. I doubt this will be over any time soon.
 While I want Obama [...]

Fellow republicans, there’s a car going the wrong way!

Remember this joke?
As a senior citizen was driving down the freeway, his car phone rang. Answering, he heard his wife’s voice urgently warning him, ‘Herman, I just heard on the news that there’s a car going the wrong way on 280 Interstate. Please be careful!’
‘It’s not just one car,’ said Herman. ‘It’s hundreds of them!’
It [...]

Is this what you call an endorsement?

Ann Coulter recently endorsed Mitt Romney:
At worst, Romney will turn out to be a moderate Republican – a high-IQ, articulate, moral, wildly successful, moderate Republican. Of the top five Republican candidates for president, Romney is the only one who hasn’t dumped his first wife (as well as the second, in the case of Giuliani) – [...]

Huckabee the defender of the ‘Judeo-Christian’ values that the US was founded on

How many times did I hear Bill O’Reilly and others talk about ‘Judeo-Christian’ values? How many times has this word being shoved in my face to explain why we can’t complain about the presence of religion in public life.
So now Huckabee wants to bring the Constitution in line with “God’s standards”. Excellent! Let’s have a [...]

Will the real capital C Conservative please stand up!

Clearly it’s not Huckabee… It’s definitely not Guiliani (the mistress, sanctuary city, pro abortion, etc.). Mitt is disqualified thanks to all his pro-Kennedy statements (and the 50$ abortion copay). McCain is absolutely expelled because of his pro-illegal immigrants position. We will exclude Ron Paul because he seems more libertarian than conservative.
So we are left with Thompson [...]

Yet another liberal…

From MSNBC:

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba - The chief of the U.S. military said Sunday he favors closing the prison here as soon as possible because he is concerned that worldwide negative publicity about the treatment of terrorist suspects has tarnished America’s image.
“I’d like to see it shut down,” Adm. Mike Mullen said in an [...]

Fred Thompson has no faith in America

Listen to the part on Gitmo in his debate response. Closing Gitmo and allowing the detainees to come to the US (and using the court system) is seen as ‘liberalism’.
You know what? That Republicans prefer to use land leased from Cuban to circumvent our judicial system is what is sad. Fred and his friends have [...]

It’s because Ron Paul is listening to Hot Air!

Hot Air was wondering what voices Ron Paul was listening to when he gave his answer on the incident related to patrol boats.
The subject turns to Iran, and all the candidates but Paul express support for the restraint that the US commanders showed in dealing with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard patrol boats. But Ron Paul [...]

That’s exactly what ‘Shiite Republicans’ are all about…

Hotair has a post on the latest revelations about Mike Huckabee.
Some highlights from the Hotair source and Hotair’s comments:

As for a race in which Huckabee worked to defeat a Republican, there was a legislative race in Mountain Home, Arkansas, where Huckabee helped Democrat Benny Magness in his race against Republican Shawn Womack. Womack won.
Campaigning for [...]
