That kind of behavior is unacceptable

Two people rushed the stage where Thomas Friedman was about to give a talk from and threw pies at him.
And Michelle is right (at least for me):
I predict we’ll see a blossoming of liberal media pieces decrying the mob atmosphere at American colleges and universities and calling for civility in academic exchanges. Better late than [...]

The weird sound of freedom ringing…

Seriously, when freedom rings at Hannity.com, the ringing sound must pass many tests. If the ringing sound annoys any of Sean’s friends, then the sound is banned.
So we knew that Rush was off limits now that he joined WABC. But here is a funny one:
Can Mayor Bloomberg be attacked?
You would think the answer is a [...]

Funny how it’s the right that enforces PC rules!

I love this. There are some weird PC rules in force on the Hannity forums. Some words cannot be used against other fellow members. Among them, the word liar.
One particular user claimed to have proof that another user was a liar.
And of course one mod said the word liar was off limits:
If you call anyone a [...]

Are you really for free speech?

Some people are unhappy (to say the least) that a Ezra Levant was interrogated by the government because someone filed a complaint about him publishing those famous Islam cartoons.
Of course, the temptation is for everyone to start arguing that government can’t restrict free speech, that there should not be a system in place that would allow Muslims to [...]

Perfect example of fake news at Fox News…

Hotair recently posted a clip of Laura Ingraham guest hosting for Bill Oreilly.
Laura was “interviewing”  Sunsara Taylor of The World Can’t Wait. She wanted to talk about the reception Alberto Gonzales got at a recent appearance.
So the first loaded question comes at 1:36 — Do leftist activists really believe in free speech or are they [...]

The ‘can I speak my mind’ litmus test

From Michelle’s website:
Call them the Dixie Chicks of the bridge world. Make sure you check out the photo and whole story at the NYT (yes, it’s worth it):
In the genteel world of bridge, disputes are usually handled quietly and rarely involve issues of national policy. But in a fight reminiscent of the brouhaha over an [...]

Why did they even bother?

Hotair is reporting on a letter sent to from CAIR in an attempt to prevent Robert Spencer from speaking.
I went to look at the Young America’s Foundation’s website.
I love the first picture you’ll see. It says: No education is complete… until it includes us.
Us includes, among others, Ann Coulter and Bob Novak. I’m glad [...]

Thank god the Democratic candidates found their spines!

Michelle, Kirsten and Bill were discussing yet again the Daily Kos brouhaha…
There is no reason why the Democratic candidates wouldn’t come to the Yearly Kos. What Bill and Michelle think is the left is really the center.
Look at the picture Bill showed tonight. I am sure that the Daily Show shows worse things yet every [...]

The new definition of contempt by hannity.com

With the recent DailyKos/OReilly debate, it’s actually funny to see how ‘free’ speech is handled by the right wing crowd. I think a good example of the right wing’s love for free speech can be found on the Sean Hannity forums.
Unlike OReilly that forces you to pay to access the forums on his site, Sean [...]

Can the right stop dilluting ‘hate’?

It seems to me OReilly started this whole discussion last week with Jet Blue sponsoring DailyKos. Of course the left couldn’t just sit there being smeared so they started going after OReilly for similar ‘hate’ items on his website…
This is really sad. The word hate should be reserved for a special category of sites and [...]
