From ignoring the words to fearing the words

For a while, Obama’s hope was dissed, everyone (including Hillary) claiming it was empty and that words didn’t accomplish anything.

But now that Obama is still standing, what better than to try to attack those words, indirectly…

Hotair has a post on high similarities between a speech by Deval Patrick and Barack Obama, under the heading “The audacity of derivativeness“:

Via Wolking’s World. “Shouldn’t that be the audacity of plagiarism, big A?” Well, it’s old news that Obama and Patrick lift lines from each other and if Patrick’s upset about the lack of attribution, he’s being a good soldier and keeping it to himself. From the Times:

In a telephone interview on Sunday, Mr. Patrick said that he and Mr. Obama first talked about the attacks from their respective rivals last summer, when Mrs. Clinton was raising questions about Mr. Obama’s experience, and that they discussed them again last week.

Is there anything the right wing wont try to attack Obama? But here is the silver lining: at least Hotair posted the video so we all get a chance to be inspired by them.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal”

Just words… words that will get Obama in the White House while Republicans run around trying to find a decent plan for America (not just for the rich and the cronies).

  • Is there anything the right wing wont try to attack Obama?

Uh, this issue was brought up by right-wingers in the Hillary camp.

Incidentally, I know Obama is the Second Coming or something but he wasn’t the author of “We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal” either. That would’ve been from one of those Christian founders of this nation.

  • Right wingers like Hotair and Laura Ingraham (she had that on her show today)?

As for the author, I thought it was Deval Patrick :)!

  • It’s been all over the news the last two days. You don’t expect it to be mentioned in conservatives circles as well? It should also be noted that Hot Air didn’t use it to “attack” Obama. In fact, they pretty much blew it off as much ado about nothing.
