Jason Mattera can’t let go of the fear technique!
I mean, why let go of such a motivating technique?
So again on Fox News, he claimed that young people fear the government and that the Republican should exploit that.
Seriously, I am currently listening to Barack Obama’s speech. He just won LA, WA and NE. This is inspiring. It’s uplifting.
Anyways Jason, Republicans have received your message loud and clear. The politics of fear is all they can sell. Case in point: Mitt Romney’s parting shot. When Mitt decided to drop out of the race, he had to claim that Democrats were going to retreat and surrender.
So trust me, you don’t need to remind them yet again… unless you also need to remind them to breathe every few seconds as well.

When Mitt decided to drop out of the race, he had to claim that Democrats were going to retreat and surrender.
Using their own words and past actions, what exactly makes Romney’s statement anything other than logical?

No retreat-no surrender: just pack up and leave.
We went to the wrong place for the wrong reasons.

It makes it yet another bogus below the belt attack. Do you see major Democrats claiming Republicans are responsible for the killing of US soldiers in Iraq, based on the fact that Republicans want to stay in that war?

Oh come on. I’ve heard far worse in political discourse. And, yes, much though not all of it from Democrats.

So did I… and from Democrats. But I am sick of hearing this bogus argument over and over again. I have a bad feeling it’s not going to get better, especially if Hillary is selected. I really hope the 08 campaign will be as clean as it can be.
