Michelle, Crooksandliars.com, double standards and unfairness…
Michelle recently posted an article about what she claims is a double standard that exist. When she was reporting on SCHIP or immigration issues, a number of us on the left criticized her for harassing the Graeme family, or singling out undocumented workers, etc.
The Boston Globe article appears, on its face to do the same. The reporters asked the lawn workers what their situation was. Would they have asked if these workers were white? I think it’s a valid question. Clearly we could imagine the same situation with Fox News coming in with their cameras to harass some of these people, like they do for the Bill O’Reilly show.

I think this is really unfair. I read and reread her post and never saw that thought expressed. (if someone could send me an exact quote of that, I would appreciate). I can see many reasons to criticize Michelle’s positions, and even sometimes her methods. I don’t think this is one of them.
