Sad story about the limits of healthcare

The story about the 17 year old that recently died “because of” Cigna (who refused to pay for what they called an ‘experimental procedure’ is really sad.
I am so tempted to jump on the ‘its the insurance’s fault’ bandwagon.
Yet I won’t.
Why?
We have no idea if another system would have covered the procedure. Even in universal [...]

I told you Huckabee was aiming for the Ron Paul vote…

Clearly the dissing of the Bush administration falls squarely within that effort. Huckabee will soon be attracting all the homeless Republicans and you will see him rise to the top! I think this really seals the deal for Ron Paul.

Exams!

Did that sound like a fun title? No… well now you know how much fun I am having and why I haven’t posted for a while…

On a lighter note…

These people at Improv Everywhere sure are funny!

You can be named and still be a coward…

As most of you know, I blog under the name ‘AnonymousCoward’ for many reasons explained in my About. Anyways, the Bush administration still can’t come clean about the Valerie Plame affair:
What did Perino say in the gaggle? The Washington Post reports Perino found another convenient excuseto punt on answering about the White House’s involvement in [...]

Universal healthcare, God, and conservatives…

Hillbilly has a terrific post on an article she found that relates to universal healthcare.
Randall Hoven at American Thinker has an article up entitled “A Conservative Case for Universal Health Coverage.”
First, I am really amazed someone on the right would post this article since it goes at the foundation of what conservatives have been claiming all along [...]

I bet 10 dollars that Republicans will rally around their candidate…

I seems that a new trend has emerged in the blogosphere. Republicans claiming they would rather vote for Hillary than Huckabee! Wow!
Riehl World View, Ace, maybe even Hotair (considering the amount of criticism they are lobing at Huckabee everyday)! (Ok that Hotair part is pure speculation!)
Anyways, I bet 10 dollars that each one of them [...]

Huckabee, meet Ron Paul…

In the world of gotcha! politics, comes this revelation:
In a candidate questionnaire from the Associated Press, one of the questions was whether the U.S. should kill Hussein. Huck’s response: “The U.S. should not kill Saddam Hussein or anyone else.”
Just imagine the outrage from the hard right if Ron Paul, for example, were to have said [...]

Who cares if Huckabee changed his position on Cuba?

Hotair has yet another (negative!) post on Huckabee. Mike, interviewed by Kirsten Powers, acknowledges that his switched his position on Cuba because of his presidential aspirations. You can see the clip on Hotair.
Basically, it was in the best interest of Arkansas to sell rice to Cuba (so Huckabee was pushing for that when he was governor). [...]

Isn’t that a movie with Tom Cruise?

Out of Miami comes the story of the so-called ‘Liberty City 7′:
The terrorism trial against seven Miami men described by the Bush administration as being as ”dangerous” as al Qaeda appeared headed for a meltdown Monday, when jurors said they were still deadlocked over charges of plotting to destroy Chicago’s Sears Tower and FBI offices.
What [...]
